The Founder

Liana Jaime López is the founder and creative director of JAIME, a unisex menswear brand rooted in Afro-Caribbean heritage, cultural storytelling, and sustainable innovation. A proud second-generation Dominican-American, her work bridges craftsmanship from El Cibao with cutting-edge, made-to-order production.

A graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology and recipient of the Critic Award for her graduate collection, Liana has developed apparel for some of the world’s most recognizable fashion brands. In 2019, she was named a finalist in the inaugural Gucci Changemakers North America Fellowship, and most recently her brand JAIME was featured in Vogue México for its role in reshaping garment creation through vertical integration and digital tools for its debut drop titled 'Dominicans in Paris' in support of Dominican Athletics attending the 2024 Paris Olympic games.

Through JAIME, she is building a new model for how beautiful clothes are designed, sold, and made—centered on equity, intention, and heritage.

The Brand

Founded in 2024 by Liana Jaime-López, JAIME is a menswear and lifestyle brand redefining how clothes are made—through culture, technology, and intention. Rooted in Afro-Caribbean identity, JAIME celebrates diasporic narratives and craftsmanship from El Cibao, Dominican Republic, while leveraging on-demand production to eliminate waste and overproduction.

As a proud participant in a next-generation incubator for sustainable design, JAIME combines storytelling with innovation—creating limited drops that center community, identity, and cultural memory. Each piece is designed in the U.S. and crafted in the Dominican Republic through a vertically integrated supply chain powered by data and made only when you order.

With the ethos For one, —For All™, JAIME is building a future of fashion that's deeply personal, radically sustainable, and unapologetically rooted.
